The waterproofing was also done today. I believe the carpenters will be on site tomorrow. Hopefully the door frames and doors will go in.
Yesterday we put a deposit down on a new sofa for the Activity Room from Proud Furniture in Auburn. We wanted a sofa bed and we wanted a long sofa because the wall is approx 3.8 metres long, so we chose a 3 metre / 4 seater sofa 'Grange' in fabric with a queen size sofa bed . Because it will be the kids area we wanted to get a material that won't show too much dirt and that will be durable, so we went with Warwick 'Ada Stone' (see below). Scatter cushions will be in 'Zepel Fabric Raita Chestnut' (see below).
We also decided that the floorboards and carpet that we changed to last week are probably going to be too dark, so we changed our mind yet again for the third time. We have decided on Parador 'Walnut Wide Plank' floorboards with 'Perfections 510 Cashew' carpet. The problem we will have though with choosing a light carpet will be trying to keep it clean with 3 kids. We will have to lay some ground rules like no shoes, no food and drink etc...lol
