Roof trusses went up today and windows have been delivered. Our SS Peter called me this morning to let me know that plumbing rough in would take place on Wednesday and that the fascias and guttering will go up on Thursday. The roof should be finished by Tuesday next week.
Its really coming along now. The colour of the steel is so pretty :)
One thing that concerns me though is the height of the master bedroom window. It looks like it is too low. Hopefully I'll get to meet with the SS tomorrow morning and measure all the window heights.
I am so excited for you, we are waiting on our Council approval before we can knock down our house and then we should finally get on the construction list... as for your window, I'd get onto that one straight away as its been a common problem throughout lots of people's builds - McDJ are aware of it, which surprises me that it still happens...
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love all that mud ...clay is such a wonderful thing and the window height a lot of people are having the same problem i am sure MJH will be straight onto it, best builders going i think just keep an eye on things as they do stuff up every now and then .
