Damn rain!!! I recieved a call from Peter our SS on Monday to let me know that the brickies couldn't finish the brickwork on Saturday as they had run out of bricks and that 2 x more pallets would be delivered on Monday. Problem is that it has been raining since Monday and they still haven't arrived. He did say that it was weather permitting though. I am pretty sure the next two days will bring some sunshine, so hopefully the brickwork will get finished. Peter said they only have less than 1 day of brickwork to be done.
On a good note, the eaves got delivered today and apparently are supposed to be put up tomorrow. The timber for the front facade was also delivered. Peter also mentioned that if the brickwork gets finished that the bricks would be cleaned on Friday. I can't see it happening though as I can't imagine 1 day after the final bricks being laid they would be dry enough for a clean. I would say this will get pushed back to Saturday or next week.
Electrical has been booked in for next Monday, home theatre and security next Tuesday and apparently gyprock to start next Friday, but again all this will be weather permitting.
