6th August 2013

Electricians were on site today. All powerpoints, light switches and baton fixes have been installed and are working. All benchtops, so kitchen, master ensuite and main bathroom were installed. I am really happy with the colour choice so far. Everything is still covered in dust so its a little hard to see, but so far so good.

The painting has also finished. We noticed a few spots had been patched. The cutting in where the walls meet the cornices is pretty crappy. I could have done a lot better myself. I am assuming it is something we will have to fix ourselves, but I guess we will wait and see what they say when we do PCI.

Sinks and bath tub had been delivered and are ready to be installed. They may have been put in later this afternoon as we were at the house around 2pm.

We are starting to keep a record of the little things that will need fixing. Already we have noticed some bubbling in the cornice in the master bedroom, a gap above the laundry powerpoint, gaps above the kitchen wall cupboards, tiling in both bathrooms is missing grout in the corners, an area of the facade column is missing the bag & paint etc. You really start to notice things when the painting has finished.

Getting really excited. Won't be long now!
