We're back...well almost!
I finally managed to get a job. Only took 8 months. We came so close to losing everything, but I managed to get a job just in time. We are still not completely in the clear however, as my better half is still out of work, so its still a huge struggle. It has now been 8 months without a job for him too. Hopefully he'll find a job soon so we can finally finish off where we left off.
Our first priority when Pete does find a job will be getting the driveway done. Its been an absolute pain in the backside not having one. We are so sick of the dust/dirt/mud. There is still a lot to do.
Hoping some more good luck comes our way...fingers crossed.

I followed your blog very closely as we were building the same house at the same time and you offered a lot of advice and detail with inclusions etc through your posts. I hope everything gets back on track from here and your husband is the next one to strike it lucky on the job front. All the best.
